CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

DANCE (Latin, Bachata, Salsa): Come and join these brand new, exciting classes! Experience the energetic, passionate and upbeat stylings of Latin, Bachata and Salsa dancing for the first time ever at Lakehead University.

ZUMBA: Fuses fitness, entertainment and culture into an exhilarating dance-fitness sensation! Zumba exercise classes blend upbeat world rhythms with easy-to-follow choreography, for a total-body workout that feels like a celebration. It’s fun and effective, using interval training combining fast and slow rhythms for an effective aerobic workout while at the same time targeting your legs, abs, glutes and arms.

FIT YOGA: Teaches Yoga for you specifically.  Learn proper posture, alignment & how to work to your edge.  We begin with a well balanced warm up, breathing techniques, many variations for all poses so you can release tight muscles and joints without injury.   Learn how to make yoga part of your daily practice.  Combine Body/Mind/Spirit for energy, strengthening endurance, toning, flexibility and relaxation.
