During this time the building will be closed completely to all staff, students and the general public; doors will remain locked and signage posted at all entrances.

We’ve been hard at work making the building pictured above become a reality! The Wolf Den, Lakehead University’s New Athletics Facility, will provide all of our users with state-of-the-art fitness, gymnasium and wellness areas while providing a new entrance to our loved CJ Sanders Fieldhouse & Hangar. With our varsity season upon us, we thought it important to share what you can expect to enter during our 2020/2021 season while ensuring you have the proper information to seamlessly enter the facilities for events during the current year. Our first games take place this Friday, September 27th and Saturday, September 28th at 7pm; we kindly ask that upon entering the building you follow the instructions below.
During construction, we will be using the East entrance between the Hangar and the Fieldhouse for events. This will be the only entrance available 1 hour prior to game time and throughout the duration of the event for all members, community groups, and varsity spectators. We have included a map below to identify the easiest way to access this entrance along with a schedule of our Varsity home game dates and times.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during the construction of our new facility! For more information visit Thunderwolves.ca/new-facility/ or call the front desk at (807) 343-8585.
