ACTIVEU CAMPS

About Us

ActiveU camps are recreational multi-sport and activity camps for children in grades 1-6. Our schedules rotate to incorporate a variety of sports include basketball, soccer, dodgeball, ball hockey, swimming and more! Our counsellors are all Lakehead University students, and we often have student-athletes on staff.

ActiveU has a strict no bullying or harassment policy, and we welcome all children into our camp environment.

Summer 2021 Dates

Week 1 – July 5 to 9

Week 2 – July 12 to 16

Week 3 – August 9 to 13

Week 4 – August 16 to 20

Camp Details

All ActiveU camps run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with drop-off available starting at 8:30 am and pick-up available until 4:30 pm. This year, we are excited to be expanded offering our camps to children in grades 1 through 6. Our grade 1 to 3 campers will be in one group, and our grade 4 to 6 campers will be in another. Group sizes will be determined by the Chief Medical Officer of Health.

All camps are run out of the main Lakehead Athletics Facilities on campus located at 955 Sanders Drive, Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Camp Costs

ActiveU full day camps are $225 and include an ActiveU t-shirt for each camper.

IMPORTANT: In order to register properly, please ensure that your account is set up with your details as the parent/guardian. Once you have an account, you will be able to add your child as a dependent in your profile. The registration will not work if you are signed in as your child.
