The pool is currently hiring lifeguards! Major responsibilities include overseeing the safety and supervision of all patrons on pool deck during hours of operations, ensuring the pool meets health and safety regulations, the building and surrounding areas are clean, tided and safe for participants, and that the University’s policies are enforced. Position Description:The Lakehead University C.J. Sanders Fieldhouse is looking for individuals with excellent customer service skills, and ability to maintain exceptional facilities to provide a safe and clean environment for patrons. As a facilities attendant you are responsible for membership sales, laundry service, as well as general maintenance and cleaning of facility. Applicants must have excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.

All game management and sports information jobs are part-time positions available from September to February. The work takes place primarily on weekends. These positions are sport-specific, therefore successful candidates must be very familiar with the playing rules and regulations of the sport to which the role applies.
Desired Attributes:
Some roles require candidates to be computer efficient or possess special skills (numeracy, inter-personal). Training will be provided for all positions and we are seeking individuals of any age who are eager, willing to learn, and be a part of the varsity athletics game management and/or sports information team for both the current and future varsity seasons.

Campus Recreation serves the entire university population in opportunities to engage in sport throughout the year by participating in various league sports! We are always looking for members to join our team who are passionate for sport. Our team consists of convenors, referees, and scorekeepers for all of our leagues include soccer, volleyball, basketball, flag football, hockey, ultimate frisbee, dodgeball, and innertube waterpolo. All campus recreation positions typically work in the evenings Sundays-Thursdays. Most sports run between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm, with the exception of hockey which runs between 9:00 pm and 12:30 am.

Description: In these roles you will work alongside your sport convenor to deliver an excellent experience for participants in our campus rec leagues.
