Women’s Volleyball (4-15 OUA Regular Season)
Olivia Bowman
Year: 4
Hometown: Cobourg, ON
Program: Kinesiology

Coach Green: “Olivia has worked hard this month to be a consistent attack and blocker. Working hard through injuries this year, “Liv” is a consistent high IQ Volleyball athlete. Her knowledge and experience is a leadership quality for us, and her ability to manage her restrictions and be able to perform on the weekends is admirable. She has one of the fastest attacks on the right side and provides us with a strong blocking defence.”

Women’s Basketball (8-11 OUA Regular Season, 1-1 Playoffs)
Bridget O’Reilly
Year: 3
Hometown: Seaforth, ON
Program: Business

Coach Kreiner: “Bridget steadily improved her rebounding and ability to attack the rim to score since so many teams have been honing in on her ability to shoot the ball with range. I saw some really good signs that lead me to believe that Bridget has only scratched the surface of just how good she can be during the month of February. She was defended very tough and struggled from 3 at times but she found other ways to contribute such as attacking the rim, rebounding and getting steals out of her defense. I am excited to see what another summer of training will do for Bridget as she prepares for her senior year.”

Canadian University Sports Network 3rd STAR of the week of Jan 30-Feb 5. Bridget help lead her team to a 4-2 regular season record in the month of February (the best month for the team) scoring 16 vs Laurentian, 19 vs Nipissing and 15 points vs Waterloo.

Coach Furtado: “We had some very important games that we needed to win in the month of February vs. Nippissing and Guelph on the road. Bacarius was instrumental in helping us win those games not only with his scoring and rebounding but with his interior defense as well.”

Averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds in the month of February

Hockey (13-13-2 OUA Regular Season, 0-2 Playoffs)
