Wolves Fest
About Wolves Fest
Join the Lakehead Thunderwolves at the inaugural Wolves Fest sports tournament, running September 15th to 17th! This event will be an action-packed weekend for the whole family, with a variety of sports, divisions, and activities to participate in.
Sport Tournaments
Join one of our three multi-day tournaments at Wolves Fest! All sport tournaments will include 3 round-robin games on Day 1 of their division, and teams are all guaranteed 1 playoff in the single-elimination brackets taking place on day 2.

- 3v3 Basketball with the Men’s & Women’s Basketball Team
- Lakehead Student, Faculty, Staff Division
- Coed Grades 6, 7 & 8 Division
- Boys Grades 9 & 10 Division
- Boys Grades 11 & 12 Division
- Girls Grades 9 & 10 Division
- Girls Grades 11 & 12 Division
- Coed Adult Division
- 6v6 Beach Volleyball with the Women’s Volleyball Team
- Lakehead Student, Faculty, Staff Division
- Coed Grades 8, 9 & 10 Division
- Coed Grades 11 & 12 Division

- 4v4 Ball Hockey with the Men’s Hockey Team

How to Participate
- Review your rulebook and ensure you have enough eligible players
- Visit our online portal here and have your team captain, or another team representative, complete registration – only 1 person per team needs to register
- If you are experiencing issues logging in or creating an account, you can contact the front desk at 343-8585 or athleticsfrontdesk@lakeheadu.ca. In person registration is also available at the Athletic Facilities Front Desk at 955 Sanders Drive
- Complete your team entry form and return to Lakehead Athletics prior to Thursday, September 14th at 12:00 pm. You will find the link to download your team entry form after registering your team or linked below. Please note team entry forms are NOT valid without an accompany online registration/payment in link 3.
- Get ready for some fun!
