Thunderwolves head to Florida for Holiday Hoops

The Lakehead women’s basketball team is heading south to Florida during the holiday break to play some non-conference games against Broward College (3-9). Games will take place on December 29th and 30th at 1:00pm (EST).

Coach Kreiner on the upcoming weekend:

“Our games against Broward College, over the winter break, will give us the opportunity to work on areas that we need to refine before conference play resumes January 5th. Broward College (3-9) plays in the NJCAA DIV 1 Southern Conference. They have a new coach (Brian McCormick) who has worked many clinics around the world, including in Canada, and is the best selling author of 21st Century Practice. He believes in the “Global Player” and has worked with Canada Basketball’s Mike MacKay. This will be a great experience for both our team and myself.”

The Thunderwolves finished off the first half of the season 6-4, sitting in a tie for second in the OUA West.
