Your Lakehead Thunderwolves Women’s Volleyball (0-2) take to home court in the Thunderdome tonight as they take on The University of Toronto Varsity Blues (1-2). Lakehead will be looking for the first win of the season!

Set scores in the match were 25-21, 25-23, 19-25 & 25-20.

Your Lakehead Thunderwolves came out with fire tonight making sure they had the lead in this set and taking it back when the Varsity Blues tried to get ahead. 

Lauryn Langley kept this team alive by taking the lead with kills to get Lakehead in the lead in the 2nd. After 17 points this set is tied. Toronto takes the lead with Lakehead chasing them down! They did indeed chase them down by taking the last point of the game, winning the 2nd set 25-23 and heading into the 3rd 2-0 for this game. 

Lakehead could not keep up with Varsity Blues for the 3rd set as they lost 19-25 and forced a 4th. 

Your Lakehead Thunderwolves would take the lead in the 4th and win 25-20 to have their first win of the season come back tomorrow to see if they can sweep this weekend!

You will find the Women’s Volleyball team is back in action tomorrow night against the The University of Toronto Varsity Blues. Come and join us at 6PM in the Thunderdome.
