Lakehead Wrestling started 2018 at the Brock Open this weekend with the Thunderwolves placing second in men’s division and fifth in the women’s. Twelve of the Lakehead wrestlers placed in the top 6 of their respective weight classes with four winning medals.

Jacob Luczak won at 90 kg while Marco Palermo and Kevin Leatherdale both placed second in 57 and 61. Kara Nixon placed third in the 82 kg weight class.
