Running Teams Competing in Queen’s Invitational

The Lakehead Cross Country teams are headed to Kingston this weekend to race in the Queen’s University Invitational. The Men and Women will be competing on October 15 at 12:00pm and 1:00pm at Fort Henry Hill.

“This is our first race against other OUA schools and will be a good chance to see where we are in comparison,” comments Coach Sigsworth.

Last year at the Queen’s Open, the women placed 5^th overall and the men’s team placed 3^rd with Kevin Tree winning 1^st.

The men’s team is coming off a successful performance from two weekends ago at the Blugold Invite, finishing 5^th place overall. The team will be looking to improve from the Blugold and continue to prepare for the upcoming OUA Championship.
