Thunderwolves host LU vs the World track meet

The Lakehead Thunderwolves track team will start 2020 by hosting LU vs the World on Saturday, Jan. 11.  

LU vs the World will start at 9:00 pm and run until 12:00 pm.

“LU vs the World will be the first opportunity for the entire squad to compete this indoor season,” said head coach Kip Sigsworth.  

“We use the meet to assess where we are at and what we need to work on before heading into more competitive meets over the next several weeks.”

Lakehead track athletes competing this weekend include Rebekkah Pyle and Colin Warwick, who will be opening up their indoor season after very strong cross country seasons and Amy Stieh (300m) and Niko Dowhos (60m), who both broke school records in their Lakehead debuts.
