Thunderwolves Take on Wesmen

The Lakehead men’s basketball team will play a pair of non-conference games against the Winnipeg Wesmen this weekend on home court. Every year the Thunderwolves and Wesmen have continued to play exciting and competitive non-conference games against each other and this weekend will be no different.

“We’re looking forward to getting another few exhibition games with a competitive and well coached Winnipeg Wesmen squad. Coach Raimbault always has his guys prepared and ready to play with passion, something we will have to match while also limiting our turnovers. Showing some discipline on the defensive end while working to improve our shot selection and spacing offensively are going to be keys to our success this weekend.” – Coach Ryan Thomson

The Thunderwolves lost two close games to the Regina Cougars last week during Homecoming but played hard and showed their potential for the upcoming OUA season.
