Track Team to compete at St Thomas and Superior Twin Ports Invites

Busy weekend for the Lakehead Track team as they will be competing at the University of St Thomas Invite in Minneapolis, MN this Friday and on Saturday afternoon, the Wolves will race at the University of Wisconsin – Superior Twin Ports Invite

Athletes will race in individual events on Friday night followed by mostly relays on Saturday.

“We had a good start to the indoor season last weekend at our home meet and look to build on that momentum this weekend.  The goal this weekend is to work on being competitive, focusing on racing people, and let times take care of themselves.  With the two meets, athletes will get multiple opportunities to race and work on skills that will be critical to running fast in the meets that matter come February.  This should be a fun weekend and set us up well for the heart of the season.” – Coach Kip Sigsworth
