Q: How long have you been playing basketball?
A: I have been playing basketball since I was in the second grade.
Q: What is your favourite thing about playing basketball?
A: My favourite thing about paying basketball is that it is a fast-paced game where you have to be both skilled offensively and defensively to be successful
Q: What is your favourite basketball memory NOT WITH the Thunderwolves?
A: My favourite basketball memory not with the Thunderwolves would be when I was in grade 8 playing for the blessed sacrament yellow jackets. I hit a half court buzzer beater to win the game against our rivals the waterloo warriors
Q: What is your favourite basketball memory WITH the Thunderwolves?
A: Last year was my first year with the team and I really enjoyed our first road trip which was to Edmonton
Q: What made you choose basketball as your sport?
A: I started playing when I was young and I became very competitive at the sport so I stuck with it.
Q: Why did you choose to come to Lakehead and play for the Thunderwolves?
A: When I was getting recruited to Thunderwolves and came up for a visit the atmosphere and environment at the games were like no other school that I visited.
Q: What are some of your goals for the upcoming season?
A: Personally, I would like to improve my minutes, shooting percentage and defense. As a team, we would like to represent Lakehead at the Canadian championship.
Q: How do you train over the summer?
A: Over the summer I train skills development with the coach 6 times a week and I am in the weight room 6 times a week. On top of that i normally do 1 pool workout a week.
Q: What is the best thing about being a student-athlete?
A: The best about being a student athlete is being able to represent the Lakehead community across Ontario while playing a sport i love to play.
Q: What is the hardest thing about being a student-athlete and how do you deal with it?
A: The hardest thing about being a student athlete is being able to manage my time between my sport and education. I deal with it by planning out my days well in advance
Q: What is something this sport has taught you?
A: Discipline. Anything you want in life you can set a goal to go get but you have to be disciplined to achieve that goal.
Q: Which teammate inspires you the most?
A: Last year I looked up to our veterans on the team who taught me a lot both on and off the court and i hope to one I can help other players adapt and develop.
Q: What is your favourite thing to do outside of basketball?
A: Nothing particularly I just enjoy hanging out with my friends
Q: What is your dream vacation destination and why?
A: Going to see a NBA championship game with a group of my friends
Q: What was the best summer vacation you’ve ever had?
A: It’s a tough question I have been blessed with so many good vacations and memories with my family.
Q: What is your favourite summer activity?
A; My favourite is activity working out and training to get better at basketball for the next season.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: My dream job would be able to play basketball professionally
