‘Wolves Place 6th out of 24 at Brock Open

Lakehead wrestlers came away with a 6th place standing (out of 24 teams) at the Brock open on Saturday.

“A pretty good showing today, our athletes wrestled well,” said coach Francis Clayton.
Top Thunderwolves on the day were Dana Campbell on the women’s side, who won the silver medal in the 82kg, while Chris Waltner (57kg) and Drew Anderson (100kg) came close in their bronze medal matches but settled for 4th place.
Emma Horner (59kg) also reached the bronze medal match and settled for 4th place.
The team’s next event is the Western Open later this month.
