The women’s volleyball team head out this weekend for three games, two vs Waterloo Warriors (Fri-Sat) and one vs the McMaster Marauders (Sun).
The Thunderwolves (2-2) take on the Warriors (2-2) and the Marauders (3-1, CIS #10) in the first road tests of the regular season.
“Waterloo’s coach Richard Eddy has made some great additions to his lineup,” continues Green. “This team has become bigger and stronger and has shown great gains week by week, this to me is a sign of solid development.”
“We have to be on top of our game. Tough serving and a consistent transition game will be vital in order to find any success at Waterloo. They’ve got a loyal and loud fan base, which makes for an exciting road game for us.”
Green explains the matchup with the Marauder, saying, “Sunday we come up against the biggest team by far in OUA. All the work we do and philosophies we train will have to be brought to the fore against this team of giants. They’re solid in every aspect and rarely take a play off. We have to match that intensity and brign focus to compete on Sunday. We look forward to Tim Loucks group, the challenge they present.”
