The men’s basketball team beat the University of Regina 89-56 in the consolation final at the Wesmen Classic earlier today.
The Thunderwolves started the game strong as they outscored the Cougars 23-8 by the end of the first quarter. Lakehead continued to push in the second quarter that gave them a 47-22 lead at the half.
Lakehead continued to dominate in the second half and finished the game winning 89-56.
Kache Kopec led the ‘Wolves with 17 points. Mor Menashe contributed 15 points, 4 assists as well as Mike Theodore put up 14 points, going 6-6 from the field.

The Thunderwolves finished the Wesmen Classic with a 2-1 record and will now prepare for their next regular season game of 2017 against Ryerson on January 6th in Toronto.
