Track and Field team to compete in Twin Ports Invitational

The Lakehead Track and Field team is off to the University of Wisconsin – Superior this weekend to compete in the Twin Ports Invitational.

“The athletes are ready to get out and compete against some outside competition.  This is a small meet but a good first step to see where we are at.  Joe McDonough and Heather Maxfield are fit and ready to roll in the 800m and the men will be fielding a strong 4 X 800m relay team.” – Coach Sigsworth

The men’s team will consist of fifth-year Tyler White, fourth-year Joe McDonough, and first-years Derek Patterson, and Josh Stovel.

The meet begins at 11:30am on January 21 at the Lydia Thering Fieldhouse.
