Another Recruit Added to the 2018/19 Lakehead Men’s Basketball Roster
The Lakehead Men’s Basketball program has announced another recruit for the 2018/19 season. 6’0 point guard, Alston Harris of Canada Top Flight and St. Patrick’s High School in Ottawa will join the Wolves while studying Business at Lakehead.
“As a staff, we are thrilled to announce the commitment of Alston Harris,” says Thunderwolves Head Coach Ryan Thomson. “Alston brings a certain level of toughness, competitiveness and has been a winner at every level. He’s the type of guard who can dominate a game even without scoring. His ability to lead by example and his competitiveness are going to be huge assets to our program.”
Alston on his commitment:
“The reason why I decided to attend Lakehead is that of the endless opportunities the campus provides. The business program at Lakehead is one of the elite programs in the country. The LU staff did a good job of making me feel wanted. They want what’s best for me on and off the court and knowing that the coaches and staff are willing to help me in any aspect of life makes me trust the program which helped in making this decision”
