Coach Green: “This 3rd year middle blocker has had a stellar month. A local athlete with 1/3 the games of any middle she faces, Jessica has not only held her own but established herself as a premier blocker in the OUA. Currently in the top 10 in Block Solos and Block Assists and 4th in Blocks per set, Jessica has fought through the entire season with injuries, and she defines what a university athlete is, by working through and beyond her injury. As an athlete of the month, we can say she is a dedicated and second generation Lakehead Thunderwolf. Congratulations to her for the recognition”
