Day 1 Results From CIS Championships

After the first day of action at the CIS Wrestling championships, the Lakehead Thunderwolves’ team has one chance to reach the podium in the medal rounds Saturday.

Full match results follow below.

Emma Horner (59kg) went 2-0 on Friday, defeating her first opponent 10-0 (from U Regina), followed by a close 3-2 decision against Alyssa Medeiros of the Western Mustangs.

Kelsey Dayler (67kg) completed a 1-2 record on the day, and will compete for 5th place Saturday.

Chris Waltner (54kg) also finished 1-2 in his division, and will battle for 5th place on Saturday.
