Lakehead men’s basketball finished off their weekend with a win, 77-60 over the Waterloo Warriors.
Henry Tan brought his ‘A’ game on Sunday, connecting on six of nine 3-point attempts and totaling a game-high 32 points.
As a team the ‘Wolves hit on 6 of 12 three pointers in the first half to help them establish a lead. Waterloo meanwhile were just 1 of 8 from beyond the arc through 20 minutes of play.Bacarius Dinkins registered another double-double, this time scoring 16 points to go with 11 rebounds (7 offensive).
Muhammad Anwar and Mike Pereira scored 12 points each for the Warriors.
The men’s team will play Hibbing Community College next weekend at home in two exhibition scrimmages.
The regular season begins for Lakehead Basketball November 7-8 at home versus Guelph.
