Coach Furtado:
“Our guys keep battling and fighting until the end of each game which is great to see. We’ve had so many tight games this year but just can’t find a way to win. The importance of every possession is magnified in these close games.”
Lakehead finished the game with 10 three pointers and were 89% from the free throw line, hitting 17-19.
The Thunderwolves will take on Brandon at 12:00pm tomorrow afternoon in one consolation semi-final.
