Lakehead Volleyball Returns Oct 23
The OUA announced the women’s volleyball 2015-16 regular season schedule today.
Lakehead will begin their OUA campaign with a four-game home stand in the Thunder Dome, beginning Oct 23-24 with Nipissing and York, followed two weeks later by a double header versus the Brock Badgers (Nov 7-8).
The women will then go on two challenging triple header road trips before the winter exam break, Waterloo and Hamilton (Nov 13-15), followed by Guelph and Ottawa (Nov 26-29).
Volleyball action then returns to the Thunder Dome for four straight games, Jan 15-16 with Queen’s and RMC, followed by a double header against the Western Mustangs Jan 22-23.
Lakehead’s final games of the regular season will be played at home against the Windsor Lancers, Feb 13-14.
After narrowly missing the playoffs last season for the first time in three years, the Thunderwolves are well positioned to find themselves in the playoff mix when the post season begins Feb 24.
