Standing at 5’9, Justine has had great success competing on her high school team alongside the Dynamo’s 18U squad and is now ready to join the Thunderwolves women’s volleyball team this upcoming fall. A graduate of Morris, just south of Winnipeg, Justine brings passion and unquestionable hard work to the ‘Wolves roster.
Seeking her Social Work Degree, Justine was drawn to Lakehead by the reputation of the hard working environment, something she does not shy away from.
Justine:
“I really felt that Lakehead was the right fit for me. In knowing how I feel I am a versatile player who has a strong physical side, I knew going to school at Lakehead and playing for Chris Green and these athletes was a strong fit for my desires to develop a U SPORTS opportunity. My goal is to grow daily and help out the team to achieve its goals.”
Her high school coaches, Lauren Edel and Scott Stevenson have really helped Justine with her desire to play Volleyball at the next level. Justine adds, ” I am very fortunate to have had my high school coaches and our Club coach Chris Cara with Dynamo, help me grow as a player.”
Coach Chris Cara states, “Justine Robert is a versatile player as she played both middle and Left Side. She has always been a team player and always gives 100% on and off the court. Over the past 2 seasons she has helped lead the Dynamo Volleyball team to a team 3rd place finish at Provincials and a top 5 finish at Nationals.”
Coach Green:
“I know that the passion and desire Justine has to work hard towards her goal, thus our goals, is unquestioned. She has a lot of learning to do with us, however I know that she has the volleyball IQ to do that. She will challenge and make everyone around her better everyday!”
