Lakehead Wrestling Adds John Campbell To Roster

The Lakehead Wrestling program is pleased to announce the commitment of John Campbell for this upcoming fall.

Campbell was this year’s OFSAA Champion at 95 kg while attending Clarke Road Secondary School in London Ontario where he was coached by David Shoebottom.

John was also a member of the London-Western Wrestling Club winning gold in the 92 kg weight class in the under 19 division at the provincial championships. He also received a bronze and silver respectfully at the National Freestyle and Greco-Roman Championships.

“We are very happy to have John join our program. He is a very hard worker and is committed to the sport of wrestling,” explains Coach Francis Clayton

Campbell will be majoring in History at Lakehead.
