Strong Performance by Runners at Bison Classic

The Lakehead track team competed at the 2018 Bison Classic  Track and Field meet over the weekend at the University of Manitoba.

Rebekkah Pyle continued to stand out winning the Women’s 1500m in 4:46.64 and the 3000m in 10:18.19. Derek Patterson also had a great weekend finishing 2nd in the men’s 3000m in 8:53.30. Tia Lampo placed 4th in the women’s 300m in 41.19.

“Overall a good weekend for the team.  We did what we needed to do this weekend and look to continue to improve this coming weekend in our last meet before OUA’s,” said coach Kip Sigsworth

Next weekend half the team will travel to Boston while the other half is in Superior, WI.
