The Lakehead women’s volleyball team (4-13) will play their last games of the regular season this weekend at home against the Brock Badgers (6-11).

“Brock is a team laden with veteran players who are playing strong systematic volleyball right now. We will recognize seniors on Saturday night, some of whom are playing their final games in the Thunderdome. It is always special when these athletes leave home and come here to dedicate a large and important portion of their lives.” – Coach Chris Green

Brock is one spot above the Thunderwolves in the OUA West and is in a fight for the final playoff position. Brock is led by Senior Renee Helmer and a plethora of attackers on the outside that can rotate in continuously.

The Thunderwolves will be honouring seniors Rheanna Geisel, Jessica Korchak, Jennifer Hammerton, Leah Mousseau and Christie Lowe on Saturday at the start of the game.
