Thunderwolves Take on Badgers

Lakehead Women’s Volleyball (0-2) is once again on the road this weekend for a two game series against Brock University in St. Catharines, ON.

“Brock has revamped their lineup and grown a few of their players throughout the years but as much as we want to focus on Brock, we really have to focus on our game,” comments Coach Green.

This will be the Badgers first games of the regular season and are going into the weekend with a 4-6 non-conference record. They have previously taken down teams such as Manitoba, Guelph and RMC during this years non-conference play.

“ We will have to get our offence growing from last weekend and our defensive success needs to to be evident both in digs and in transitioning those digs into points.”

The Thunderwolves are coming off a two game loss against York and Nipissing last weekend. The Thunderwolves will be looking to play hard and capture their first win of the regular season.
