Lakehead’s women’s volleyball team is proud to announce the signing of 5’9 left-handed setter Brooke Eberherr of Prince George, British Columbia.
“We are very happy that Brooke has chosen to come to Lakehead and Thunder Bay,” Thunderwolves head coach Craig Barclay says. “She will be joining two others on the team who are also from Prince George.”
Eberherr is currently in her senior year at College Heights Secondary School in Prince George, and she also competes with the Prince George Kodiaks volleyball club. Lakehead’s Haleigh Kearns and Clara Temoin also hail from Prince George.
“Brook comes in with a great attitude,” Barclay says, “and she comes in ready to compete.”
Eberherr’s College Heights high school team went undefeated in Prince George this season, picking up 58 wins and no losses. She will study biochemistry at Lakehead with a focus in neuroscience.
“I chose Lakehead because the team was super welcoming,” Eberherr says. “They made me feel like I was a part of the family, and the atmosphere is incredible.”
“She will be a great addition to our team,” Barclay adds, “and she will be willing to help out in any way we ask.”
“I look forward to being part of a growing program and a very positive team,” Eberherr says.
