Personal Training

Are you looking to learn more about working out? Have a current routine that you want to revamp? Book a session with our personal trainer! We have a variety of packages available that can be booked.

All personal training packages are only eligible for purchase by students and membership holders.

Personal Training Packages

All packages are available as either privates or semi-privates for up to 3

Starter package: Will help those who are in need of professional advice and guidance on the development of an existing basic fitness/strength training program. A single session includes 1 full hour training session where your trainer will review your goals, and exercises to help you meet them!

5 Sessions: The goal with this package is to help create comfort in the fitness centre. You will be introduced to all movements, skills and requirements so that you can move forwards on your fitness path. This includes 5 one-hour sessions.

10 Sessions:  In 10 sessions you are able to learn new movements that help you get started on the right path. To have a better understanding of program design, base movement patterns and more confidence moving forward! This includes 10 one-hour sessions.

Semi-Private Training Want to train with a friend, colleague or partner for some added motivation? Purchase a semi-private package instead of a private! Each session will be catered to you and your training partner’s goals. 

Pricing

All prices subject to HST. Payment options include debit, credit, cash, or cheque. 

Starter Package – $60/private, $40/semi-private (per person)

5 Sessions – $275/private, $175/semi-private (per person)

10 Sessions – $500/private, $300/semi-private (per person)

How to Get Started

If you are interested in Personal Training, please fill out this Personal Training Interest Form and our campus recreation team will contact you within 2 business days. Please note that in order to utilize personal training, you must have a membership that will be active for the duration of your package. This would include 7-visit punch passes or any of our 1, 4, 8, or 12 month memberships. Purchase of day passes does not qualify as a membership for eligibility of personal training.

Once assigned to a trainer that meets your schedule, payment for your package along with all required forms (health history and PAR-Q) will be required in full prior to your first session. 

PERSONAL TRAINING POLICIES

Appointment Scheduling

All appointments will be scheduled directly between the personal trainer and the client. Appointments for sessions must be made during regular facility hours and be agreed upon by both the personal trainer and the client.

Cancellation

Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance via written email to the personal trainer directly. Cancellations must be rescheduled within 1 month of the original session date. 

Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled appointment will not be rescheduled outside of extenuating circumstances.

Package Expirations

Single session packages expire within 1 month of purchase. 5 Session packages must be used 2 months of purchase. 10 session packages must be used within 3 month purchase

Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued due to medical concerns resulting in the inability to participate in personal training. Unused sessions after expiry are not eligible for refund.

Our Staff

Celeste Harris

Celeste is from Thunder Bay, Ontario, and has been an active, competitive athlete from a very young age. Celeste’s family has always been very supportive, which allowed her to follow her passion in the health and fitness industry.  Celeste started her career as a Personal Trainer in 2014. 

While she studied Pre-Health Science, and Business Administration Marketing at Confederation College, she was recognized for multiple athletic awards . Her biggest accomplishments were; D.A.R. Bradshaw Athletic Achievement AwardCaptain of The Women’s Varsity Soccer Team 2006-2009, Female MVP of Varsity’s Soccer Team 2006-2009 and being awarded the Female Athlete of the Year in her last year of college.

Celeste enjoys working with people at any level and age, but they must be committed, goal orientated, driven, and great communicators. Celeste is a great teacher and coach and understands everyone learns differently and performs differently. 

Today, she is certified by The International Sports Science Association. As an avid student Celeste is currently studying Glute Specialization and Bodybuilding.
